Penn Station Facade, 1920

Newly built Pennsylvania Station bustles with traffic along the corners of Seventh Avenue and 32nd Street. The gracefully imposing Beaux-Arts building was considered to be a masterpiece of the New York architects McKim, Mead & White. It was demolished in 1963 to make way for Madison Square Garden.
