Greenpoint, Brooklyn - 1928

from 315.00

An American Flag hangs in a shop window in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. The empty corner of this normally workaday neighborhood creates a spare image that looks strikingly modern at first glance. Originally taken for a survey commissioned by the NYC Transit Department, notations on the print reveal it to be the intersection of Manhattan Avenue and Huron Street.
